The Johnson County Area Agency on Aging provides a monthly newsletter called Caregiver Assistance News, featuring articles on topics of interest to seniors and their caregivers. The newsletter is distributed free of charge through funding from the Older Americans Act.

Article topics include managing caregiver stress, health and wellness, coping with the effects of dementia, and food and nutrition.

Johnson County caregivers may start receiving the newsletter at home by calling 913-715-8860; current subscribers may read the newsletter online instead.
