The Johnson County Motor Vehicle Office at 6000 Lamar Ave., Mission, will be closed for renovations beginning Thursday, Dec. 1, and lasting through the first quarter of 2012.

During this temporary closing, motor vehicle transactions may be processed online at http://treasurer.jocogov.org, through the mail, or at the Motor Vehicle Office at 782 N. Ridgeview Road, Olathe.

For their convenience, customers in need of services at the Olathe Motor Vehicle Office can "get in line" online at http://treasurer.jocogov.org or by calling 888-956-2657.

The Olathe Motor Vehicle Office is in the Heritage Crossing Shopping Center at the southeast corner of Kansas City Road and Ridgeview Road. The office is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
