Where the KC group eats
|
It's getting harder to find new eating locations, Roger Shores says, because "Many of the really small towns don't have a restaurant anymore."
But there are still plenty out there, and the ROMEOs would welcome having you join them.
"If you are traveling through Littletown, USA, and see a bunch of shiny steel steeds in front of the local diner, stop in and say hi," say the ROMEOs on their Web site. " We love to talk about our rides!"
Here's a partial list of where the Kansas City ROMEO riders dined in the past year. It's a great starting point if you're thinking about finding some down-home cooking and exploring some small communities. And if you do see the glare of chrome out front, don't assume it's the Hell's Angels and pass by; stop in, because you'll find the friendliest eating companions that exist anywhere.
